SDA NSW and Newcastle and Northern Branch

The SDA is Australia’s largest trade union, with more than 60,000 members in NSW, including 13,500 in the Newcastle and Northern Branch.

The union promotes the interests and defends the rights of employees in the retail and fast food industries. It acts on behalf of our members to protect and improve wages and conditions of employment, as well as providing many other services.

The SDA has branches in every state, and represent full-time, part-time and casual employees.
